Meet the Team
Brenda
Brenda is a Clinical Assistant who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 2001. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is seeing the progress of patients and learning about new technology. Her favorite thing about working with Dr. Lanzetta is that he is very respectful and compassionate. "He is always giving us new challenges and goals," she says. Brenda loves to meet new people every day. A native of Wyandotte, Michigan, she has lived in Lincoln Park since 2000. She and her husband, Daniel, have a son, Tyler. Outside the office she enjoys boating, mountain biking, and attending church.
Diana
Diana is a Clinical Assistant who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 2002. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is the one-on-one time with patients, and she says Dr. Lanzetta is fun to work with. Diana's favorite thing about her job is helping patients feel more confident about their smiles. After having previously lived in Dearborn and Wayne, MI, she recently relocated to Lincoln Park with her husband, Roger and son, Cameron. Outside the office she likes to spend time with her family and scrapbooking.
Anita
Anita is a Clinical Assistant and part time Receptionist who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 1992. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is the challenge of keeping up with theconstant changes in technology and procedures. Her favorite thing about working with Dr. Lanzetta is being able to laugh and have fun. She appreciates the patients, her co-workers, and feeling like a family. Anita is a Michigan native, and she and husband Stephen have two step-sons, Scott and Joshua, a step-daughter, Tiffanie, and a son, Noah. When not working she enjoys teaching Sunday school, reading, and spending time with her family. "I like to joke a lot and make people laugh," she says. "I have a running nickname as 'Queen.' I very much enjoy my job and Dr. Lanzetta is by far one of the most genuine and caring people I know."
Lisa
Lisa was Dr. Lanzetta's very first employee! Lisa is a Clinical Assistant who has worked in orthodontics since 1986 and with Dr. Lanzetta since 1989. Lisa enjoys educating families about orthodontic treatment, and her favorite thing about working with Dr. Lanzetta (besides being paid!) is that he's always thinking about the patients' best interest and he uses the latest new technology. She enjoys seeing patients' progress and getting to know their families. Her own family includes husband Dave, teenaged son D.J., and sweet baby daughter Sophia.
Barb
Barb is a Clinical Assistant and Lab Technician who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 1993. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is being able to see changes in the patients' teeth. She enjoys learning new procedures and appreciates Dr. Lanzetta's explanations and patience. Her favorite thing about her job is being able to meet a lot of new people, watch them grow up, and see their smiles when braces come off. A native of Detroit, MI, she has lived in Gibraltar since 2003. Family members include husband John, grown daughters Christina and Shawna, son Daryn, and grandchildren Erica, Kaylee, and Jaelynn. When not working Barb enjoys spending time with her family, motorcycling, and photography.
Shayna
Shayna is a Clinical Assistant who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 2003. Her favorite thing about othodontics is seeing patients' transformation from start to finish. Her favorite thing about working with Dr. Lanzetta is being able to laugh and have fun while working and making it a comfortable atmosphere. She appreciates the variety of different procedures done every day that keeps her work interesting. A native of Rockwood, MI, Shayna has lived in Flatrock since 2004. Family members include furry friends Howie and Tobie. Outside the office she likes to spend time with her friends and family.
Patty
Patty is a Receptionist who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 2004. She enjoys interacting with patients and parents and appreciates Dr. Lanzetta's enthusiasm about practice. Her favorite thing about her job is seeing the results and spending time with her co-workers. Patty is a native of Detroit and has lived Downriver since 2000. Family members include Eric, John, Blanch, Candis, and Amanda. Outside the office she enjoys going to movies, baseball, and hockey games, and being with her family and friends.
Tonya
Tonya is a Clinical Assistant and Lab Technician who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 2003. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is perfecting each procedure and she says Dr. Lanzetta makes work fun and interesting. Her favorite thing about her job is singing to her co-workers. Tonya is a native of Lincoln Park, where she's lived since 1975, and her family includes husband AJ, daughters Natasha and Cassandra, and sons Jacob and Jordan. When not working she enjoys church and children's sports.
Chelsea
Chelsea is a Clinical Assistant who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 2001. She enjoys new technology and the challenge of trying new procedures. Her favorite things about working with Dr. Lanzetta are his easygoing attitude and their love of sharing new music, as well as "the way we can joke about things and he never cries about it." Her favorite thing about her job is the closeness with her patients. "Everyone mentions how beautiful I am and what a great personality I have," she says. She loves all the families they've had the chance to treat. Chelsea is a native of Trenton, MI, where she's lived since 1980. Family members include her cat, Mister Mister. Outside the office she likes snowboarding, baseball games, dirt bike riding, boating, hanging out with friends and family, and dancing.
Susan
Susan is a Receptionist who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 2001. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is the people she works with. She loves talking with all the patients and their families. She and her husband, Gene, have a son, Mike; daughter, Rachel; step-daughter, Nikki; and step-son, Gene.
Rose
Rose is a Receptionist who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 2001, and she enjoys learning new things every day. Her favorite thing about working with Dr. Lanzetta is that he never yells and is very easygoing. She loves all the people she works with. Rose is a native of Michigan, where she's lived since 1969. Family members include husband Carl and son John. Outside the office she enjoys watching football, working in her garden, and volunteering at her son's school.
Pam
Pam is our Financial Coordinator who has worked with Dr. Lanzetta since 1992. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is getting to know all the parents and patients, and her favorite thing about working with Dr. Lanzetta is his upbeat attitude. She enjoys problem solving with parentsand doing research. A native of Civnia, MI, Pam has lived in Trenton since 1996. Her family includes husband Dale, teenaged son Josh, and teenaged daughter Bryt. When not at work she enjoys cooking, attending her daughter's sporting events, snowmobiling, spending quiet time up North, and hanging out with her son.
Sue
Sue is our Patient Coordinator and has worked in Orthodontics since 1972(!) and with Dr. Mike since 1991. Her favorite thing is watching the improvement in self esteem for patients. "Sometimes just a simple retainer is all it takes to boost self confidence in some patients," she says. She enjoys "being able to give patients options in their treatment and work with them to the best of our ability and make them confident they made the right decision to move forward with ortho." As for working with Dr. Lanzetta, Sue says, "There is never a dull moment. He likes to challenge me to keep me on my toes." She likes meeting and working with great friends and learning something new all the time. "The best is seeing all the great smiles the day the patients get their braces removed and they are so excited about their new look." Sue is a native of Wyandotte, MI, and has lived in Wasdherion since Woodhaven 1975. Her family members include husband Chris, grown daughters Kari and Kim, sons in law Nick and Heiko, and grandchildren Benjamin, Cole and Lola, with another more grandchild on the way! Outside the office she enjoys golf, bike riding, walking, any outdoor sport, reading, enjoying life with family and friends, and travel — especially to Germany to visit her daughter and her family. "I almost left the ortho field 15 years ago to finish my nursing degree because I was becoming stagnant," she says. "After joining Dr. Mike's team it was a whole new world. New ideas, techniques, continuing education, seminars, etc. So here I am. I will retire from here. I'll stay as long as he will keep me. The flexibility of this job allows me to spend quality time with family and me-time. Thanks, Dr. Mike."
